Fables The Fox and he Goat

In this story a fox fell into a well and when a goat came by and was gullable enough to jump down into the well also. The fox jumped on top of the goat and was able to get out of the well. I think the moral of this story is you cannot trust everyone. The goat trusted the fox when he said there was going to be a drought and jumped in the well. But, the fox just took advantage of the goat. The goat should have never trusted the fox. There are always gonna be people that you cant trust, or they will take advantage of you.

Fables The Crow and the Pitcher

In this story a dying and thirsty crow had to get some water out of a pitcher, but he couldn't fit his beak to the bottom. He finally decided to put pebbles in it and got the water. Therefore, he was able to save his life. I think the moral of this story is to never give up. The crow did not give up until he got the water. If he didn't try harder and gave up he would have dyed. By not giving up you can succeed in many thing, and it shows how determined you were set to reaching your goal.

Fables Four Oxen and the Lion

I think the moral of this fable was you should always stick together. When they went off they were unaware if the lion was near them. If they had stuck together in their group the lion wouldn't have been able to attack them one by one. The oxen should have stuck together with one another. That is what i think the moral was from this fable.

Fables The Wolf in Sheeps Clothing

In this fable a wolf found a left over sheep skin. He wore it over his fur. When he started leading lambs away he feasted on them. I think that the moral of this story is don't judge people because of their looks. The lambs followed the wolf because they thought it was a sheep, and judged it. If the lambs took a chance to look they would have know that it wasn't a sheep it was a wolf

Wooden Bowls

In this story wooden bowls, it had touched me in a certain way and taught a valuable lesson. The lesson it had taught was to never take your family for granted. Some people dont have family and they would die to be in your position with family. Also, even f your elder makes a mistake many times or even a mess, you love them and should never hurt them. Lastly, treat others the way you want to be treated. The family put the grandfather in the corner to eat and when the little boy was making the wooden bowl for his mom and dad they started crying. They would not like to eat alone at a seperate table in the corner of the room. This connects to cares with responsibility. I picked responsibility because you have to be the responsible person. You can clean up a mess and you are responsible to treat him with love and care as he is the one that did the same to you.

Q: Humans have 46 chromosomes, chimps have 46 chromosomes, but do we have more or less genes than chimps?

A: Chimps and humans are 98% the same. Chimp's chromosomes can be two of our chromosomes in one. Many scientist have us thinking that one human chromosome can be the same as two in a chimp. Chromosomes can also be fused together or broken apart.

So what does make humans and chimps alike? People beleive that the answer is in the genomes that don't code for genes. The proteins in the two species seem to be the same, but the amount when and where in the body are all these proteins made.

By reading the page about Mendal's discovery i learned a couple of things. I learned that a dominant gene is a gene that is stronger and powers over the recessive. This gene will be the one that you will see as a trait. For example, if your dad has brown hair and your mom has blond and you have brown. Your dad's genes were the dominant and that's how you have brown hair.
Another thing i learned is that whenever you write a dominant gene you always use capital letters. Recessive genes are writin with lower cassed. For example, if the dominant gene for the pea plant is tall you would write it like Tall. With the recessive gene, it is writin as tall.
